New Technical Staff Member: Saba Sadeghi

    Go Back Back

New Technical Staff Member: Saba Sadeghi

    Monday, June 25, 2018

Dr. Saba Sadeghi joins us as our new Quantum Devices Fabrication Scientist. In this role, Saba will work in the TQT labs under the direction of Prof. David Cory and conduct research into the fabrication of quantum devices, support the maintenance of tools for growth of quantum materials, and for SOP’s.

She will work closely with students to train them on fabrication methods, and with early adopters in the TQT project to help develop a fabrication pathway for new applications of quantum technologies.

Dr. Sadeghi holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Queen’s University, and a Master’s Degree in Advanced Engineering Materials from Chalmers University of Technology.

You may reach Dr. Saba Sadeghi at saba.sadeghi@uwaterloo.ca.

This position was created thanks in part to funding from the Canada First Research Excellence Fund.
