TQT Hosts Information Session
Event held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018
Thank you to everyone who came out to Transformative Quantum Technologies’ annual information session outside the RAC 2 Quiet Labs.
Prof. David Cory, Principal Investigator, opened this year’s info session by providing updates about new infrastructure investments and other program-wide developments. Program Director Tracey Forrest also highlighted some upcoming events such as the Condensed Matter Workshop with QuSoft (December 6th-11th), and gave an overview of funding opportunities through TQT. This was followed by presentations on select research activities supported by TQT.
Our presenters were:
Pavle Radovanovic, Plasmontronics: Manipulating Quantum States in Plasmonic Semiconductor Nanocrystals
Adam Wei Tsen, Two-Dimensional Quantum Materials and Heterostructures
Raffi Budakian, Molecular scale magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
Dmitry Pushin, Applications of Neutron Interferometry and Structured Neutron Beams and Entangled states of beams and their applications
