Quantum for Environment Lunch and Learn fosters connections

On October 24, TQT, GreenHouse and the Quantum Ethics Project jointly hosted the Quantum for Environment Lunch and Learn. The event brought together attendees from both the quantum and environment communities, including many attendees who were new to quantum technology and were enthusiastic to learn how it could be applied to address environmental challenges.
Speakers shared their insights on the broad opportunity space, the potential for quantum technology to impact the environment, and how ethical considerations may be factored into the design of solutions to mitigate against maladaptation. The audience was also engaged in collaborative exercise focused on opportunities that connect to Greenhouse ventures.
