Q4Climate Workshop
Event held from February 2-3, 2022
Q4Climate gathers the research and industry communities together around quantum and climate sciences with the aim of developing new insights into how to reduce the impact and pace of climate change.
The Q4Climate Workshop took place on February 3 and February 4th, 2022. The workshop included the following keynote sessions:
- Keynote 1: Energy by Kyri A Baker – University of Colorado, Boulder
- Keynote 2: Environmental Monitoring by Kaley Walker – University of Toronto
- Keynote 3- Transportation by Daniel Kammen- University of California, Berkley
- Keynote 4 – Sustainable Information and Communication Technologies by Jaafar Elmirghani – University of Leeds
The workshop also included open networking sessions as well as discussions and breakout rooms on simulation, sensing, optimization, and energy efficiency. TQT Program Director Tracey Forrest (who is an executive member of Q4Climate), led a breakout session on Environmental Monitoring.
