CDL Quantum Bootcamp – Panel Discussion on Canadian Quantum Ecosystem and Support from Academic & Research Institutions

This event brought together top research and academic institutions in Canada to discusstheir local quantum ecosystems and support for commercialization in front of an international audience of approximately 100 quantum entrepreneurs. Transformative Quantum Technologies (TQT) Program Director Tracey Forrest showcased Waterloo’s Quantum Valley, and described the importance of the Quantum Innovation Cycle in developing impactful quantum technologies. The panel discussion was moderated by Professor Roger Melko and other speakers included Michel Pioro-Ladrière (Université de Sherbrooke), Barry Sanders (University of Calgary) and David Weekes (University of British Columbia).
